Shelby Park is one of Louisville's most dilapidated neighborhoods, though, it is a neighborhood with massive potential. Through my position at Access Ventures, I have been able to document the neighborhood's growth during the last ten months, and capture a few favorite moments.
My friend and I went to Charleston, South Carolina for spring break this year and it was gorgeous. Charleston is an amazing city. It’s colorful, friendly, and architecturally beautiful.
Some of the places we visited:
- Rainbow Row
- Mother Emanuel AME Church
- The First Baptist Church of Charleston
- College of Charleston
- Sullivans Island beach
- Black Tap Coffee
- Paige's Okra Grill
Never in my life have I taken so many pictures.
As for the last picture, the one of me, Garrett took it.
I spent a weekend in Nashville a little while ago, and it was tight. On Saturday night we got to go to an art crawl downtown. Each collection we saw was really thought-provoking and I am glad we got the opportunity to go. We also ended up randomly seeing Hayley Williams from Paramore at one of the venues, Grace and Emily said she was wearing Off-White from head to toe.
For the most part, the snow had melted away in Providence, though there were a few banks of ice pushed up against the sidewalk. Providence is an interesting city, an emerging city. It is filled with intellectuals, whether its the creatives of RISD, or the gifted minds and thinkers of Brown University. I really enjoyed walking down the streets of this cold New England city.
Also, Blue State Coffee, Bolt Coffee, and Dave's Coffee are a must if you believe good coffee is a worthy hill to die on.
Iceland, the land of fire and ice, a country filled with scenes and settings that can only be described in a Tolkien or Lewis book. I had the opportunity to travel to Iceland with four of my closest friends for what proved to be a camping trip that I will never forget.
Here are some of my favorite moments, moments that I hold near and dear to my heart.
Boston is a city with history, a city with brick, and a city that can be unforgivably cold. Most of all, Boston is beautiful, as are the people that inhabit the city.
This winter break I had the opportunity to head downtown and embrace all that the city had to offer. Below I have included a few of my favorites moments that I captured throughout the day.
